I Guess We Start With Hello..

If you're here, then you've either been extensively blog stalking OR you've caught me at the very beginning of this. Either way, I've just come off of reading Simon Sinek's, "Start with Why," (phenomenal book by the way) and that's exactly what we're going to do. Start with 'why', or more specifically, why are we here? Not existentially speaking, I mean quite literally why are you and I here in this blog. While I can't answer why you decided that you wanted to read it, or why you're (probably) looking for entrepreneurship, I can tell you why this exists.

I fundamentally believe that we're growing up in a world that fails to teach us how to be successful in many areas of our life. The most freeing thing I have learned to date is that success principles are both without expiration and without bias.  If they worked for someone before, they will work for you.  The caveat however is of course, that to get the same result, you have to do the same work.

My mission in life is to educate and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and world changers through my story, my experience, and my expression.

But first, I need to educate and empower myself - you can't teach what you haven't done.  I think most of us can agree that people have different ways of saying the same thing, and sometimes we, well at least I do anyway, need to hear the same thing 15 times before we actually get it.  This is my version of a tried and true method - a tool to help me reach out and connect with people who are in the process of redefining their direction. Maybe you aren't after entrepreneurship, maybe it's just a better quality of life. Whatever it is you're looking for, I fundamentally believe, "there has to be more out of life."

In the pursuit of recording this process, I want to make a few promises to you about what you are and you are not going to read here:

Promise #1:
You will find that I'll tell you my sources.   I reference a lot of authors, speakers, blogs, magazines, and other writers. I'm going to share my thoughts and opinions but I really want to empower people to experience information for themselves so they can create and development own thought process.

Promise #2:
You will find that I share my beliefs and opinions on here. You are entitled to your own, just as I am to mine. I will share my experiences, what I've learned from them, and what my thought process is.

Promise #3:
You are not going to find much negative or complaining on here, as a general rule of thumb, I don't find it helpful unless followed up shortly after with a solution or a positive redirection. I was once told, "I don't need to tell you about ALL my valleys. My valleys are not important, what is important is that I got THROUGH the valleys."

So hello, and welcome to the journey of an #EntrepreneurInTraining.
